CareWorks Houston was founded in 2006 by William and Holly Hardy, a Houston couple who built the agency on something most national chains can’t offer — genuine roots in this community. William spent 17 years in management at the Houston Chronicle before channeling his leadership into eldercare advocacy, serving with the Alzheimer’s Association, the Elder Service Providers Network, and United Way. Holly, a CPA and University of Houston graduate, came to home care through a deeply personal path: her father was diagnosed with dementia in 2000, and that experience shaped her commitment to families navigating the same journey. Together, they built CareWorks into a Texas HHSC-licensed agency trusted by Houston families for nearly two decades — one that treats every client with the dignity and respect they would want for their own parents.
